I initially read this as “You gave up a pole in summer stock…” I think that would have made for a more entertaining story.

Didn’t she used to be Gil’s girlfriend? It’s more likely that she gave up her role in “summer stock” because she cared for her boy Gil than for the poor little waifs on the other side of the tracks.

I keep waiting for Ellisburkes to say that she gave up her role in summer stock because it was too hot to turn chickens into soup.

Another predictable ending to a storyline- Gil giving a beatdown to the latest villain. On to basketball season.

I see Mr Reality had the same thought as I did when I saw P1. And speaking of thoughts, I don’t know what I was thinking when I created today’s Mopped Up Thorp, but it sure wasn’t happy thoughts.
