OK, now I get it. Gil wants the camera guy to record his lecture to Holly. Yesterday I thought he was about to show her some footage of that Mayne guy’s sleazy operations.
After Mayne edits this:“You cared for me, Holly. You gave me a roll in the rec centre, and I opened up to you because you’re famous”.Mimi and Marty are going to go ballistic.
Gil! She’s a Hollywood Woman now! Your schtick played well 40 years ago, but it’s 2015 now. Get your kids to update your iPhone & iPad and join the real world. Oops, forgot.
In all reality , P 1 giant Gil hands looking to choke Holly. P 3 Gil’s middle finger delivers a lecture . P 4 Gil says" I want to quote a good friend of mine Rahm Emanuel the Mayor of Çhicago , It’s all about the children ."
Didn’t she used to be Gil’s girlfriend? It’s more likely that she gave up her role in “summer stock” because she cared for her boy Gil than for the poor little waifs on the other side of the tracks.
I see Mr Reality had the same thought as I did when I saw P1. And speaking of thoughts, I don’t know what I was thinking when I created today’s Mopped Up Thorp, but it sure wasn’t happy thoughts.

“Across the tracks” where those without access to the arts live in Milford.

“I must have appealed to her maternal instincts.” Somewhere from above, Ian Fleming is looking down.

That’s our Gil, always trying to put women on a pedestal (generally just so he can peek up their skirts).

“Across the tracks?” But was it on the right side or the wrong side of said tracks?

I initially read this as “You gave up a pole in summer stock…” I think that would have made for a more entertaining story.

I keep waiting for Ellisburkes to say that she gave up her role in summer stock because it was too hot to turn chickens into soup.

Another predictable ending to a storyline- Gil giving a beatdown to the latest villain. On to basketball season.

P-1: OK, Holly time to jog your memory. Think back…what’s this big?
