Very nice! I like the pumpkin pie in place of the clock.…………Thank you, John and Scott, for the opportunity to laugh a little in the midst of our everyday lives. …………I lost both my parents this fall – Mom on Oct 16 (she’d have been 79 on the 22nd), and Dad on November 10 (he was 80). Mom was a vital person but died suddenly, and Dad – whose body was rebelling against him, but his mind was perfect – died of a broken heart. There is no other reason other than he didn’t want to be here without her. We kids will miss them greatly.
Not trying to one-up anyone today about this of all things, and I am truly sorry for those who have lost their loved ones. But one thing I’m very thankful about today is that I was able to spend Thanksgiving with my mother and oldest sister. And that sister, my other three siblings, and I, are making big plans for next March and my mother’s 100th birthday.

Now that’s a way to carve a turkey, seals the moisture in as it cuts.
