The Buckets by Greg Cravens for December 14, 2015
Transcript:
I was going to have asked for a time machine for Christmas, but I won't get it. Why do you think that might be, Einstein? Because by now, I would have gone back and will have had taken myself forward in time to enjoy Christmas with my time machine! But I didn't, and I'm not, so I won't have gotten it! I think you clobbered the future tense, on the way to future hysterical.

His logic is unassailable. Also impenetrable.

perhaps he can have a cameo role on Dr. Who.

The Dr. Who reference was close. I’m a big Douglas Adams fan. His first Dirk Gently book was originally a Dr. Who script.

But Eddie, what if you will get the Time Machine and he (you) will take an Eddie from your future back with him? You won’t know about it until it will happen. So, keep waiting, little Eddie…

Eddie, there has to be a start to the causual loop – if you don’t ask for it, you will not have received it in the future in the first place to take your past self forward.

I love the way Eddie so naturally and easily mangled the English language into doing exactly what he needed it to do.

I would go back to 5th August, 1957 to see the first ever Andy Capp published in the Daily Mirror!

Eddie must have been paying close attention to the grammar lessons in English class. His conjugation is pretty good for a kid his age.

You’ll have a visit from the Department of Temporal Investigation’s “Mr. Lucsly” and “Mr. Dulmer” soon, Mr. Cravens. LoL
