Am I going to have a hunch that bully Dakota is Phoebe’s secret Santa Claus? Only one way to find out and that is to stay tuned.

Ear muffs?The only way that is working is because of Unicorn magic.

In my hyperactive period (known, by my wife as my ‘you do that again, Mister, and you’re in BIG trouble’ days), it was Jolt cola. Hmmm. Wonder what a unicorn on a caffeine jag would be like?

A can of soda? Wow, and I thought I got cheap presents back in school. :P

Giving a can of soda as a Christmas present; the grade school equivalent of giving a lottery ticket.

Or maybe it was a lucky guess.

Whoever it was forgot it was Secret Santa day, and before class was passing a soda machine and thought “What the heck….”

Some of you are complaining that a can of soda is a cheap gift, but I assume the school must of set a $1 limit on the Secret Santa gifts. Phoebe said yesterday she gave an eraser as a gift, and that must have cost only a buck.

For those of us who are near Social Security age we never had Secret Santa, usually didn’t have a class party either. Our bus driver always had a singing contest on the way to school where we would all take turns standing at the front of the bus and individually compete singing seasonal songs with the grand winner at the end of the week getting a candy bar. (And yes, this was done while the bus was moving at 55 mph down the road-you held on to the grab bars at the front and were usually over the white line-this would give today’s parents the vapors, not only for the safety factor but also for the fact that there was a single winner)

Either way its Dakota and you’ll feel bad you didnt try harder on your gift.
