Not much coffee drinking going on…

……I used to frequent “open mic” type formats where they let poets read their work quite often……I got involved with one where I would help the moderator out with details regarding conduct in the room……this fellow came on once with his acoustic guitar and did a couple of Neil Diamond songs….and then a couple more…..and more ’n more ’n more…….when he was up to about his tenth Neil Diamond song we politely ushered him out from behind the mic…….time limit per performer, you know….man, them was the days!…….

“Subject them to it?” I expect from him something like “Not doing it for free.”
