If there’s room for a car to turn right, I will make sure I leave room to do so. If it’s questionable, or not possible, I will stay as far to my right as possible. If I can get the idiot behind me to honk his horn, then so much the better.

For once I agree with the Oaf. The right turn on a red light law has been in effect for a half century or so, including the one where this strip is set. To just sit there and block all the cars behind you is rude. And in the state where The Oaf resides, people have been known to urge those inconsiderate drivers along the way in more ways than just honking the horn.

Maybe a driver needs to turn right into a driveway just beyond the street. The right turn on red is a lucky convenience, not a right. And in rush hour traffic there in no way for the right lane to always be clear……

It’s much better to be standing in line at a restaurant than sitting in traffic. I guess…
