@TheWildSow—if they get a live tree around Thanksgiving, it becomes a major fire hazard by Christmas…especially if the bottom was not properly trimmed before being put in a stand full of water and if the water level isn’t checked daily. Add to that: dry indoor air (in many places), the tree starts to look bad as well/
