Well, this is getting to be a mystery! I suppose Specs might have seen something that no-one knew he was seeing.

Sorry for those poised to get VB shirts, but I just can’t keep myself awake any longer tonight and I do have to be up early. That will miss the New Year sale, but I’m pretty sure another sale price on shirts will be coming up this month, maybe even this week. In the meantime, I’ll get everything properly ready. Sorry again.

Actually, I can think of at least three other people who would have known where the shipment was: the coordinator of the The Bureau of Engraving and Printing/The U.S. Mint/The Federal Reserve (who are in charge of destroying as well as printing money) and the two security guards of the armored truck that delivered the money.

I honestly can’t see the Apparatus having Specs wander around town on the outside chance he’d make a lucky score.

More over as we saw way back with the final days of Big Boy story the Apparatus does NOT like high profile crimes on this scale…they simply attract all kinds of the wrong attention.

Finally, how would Specs know to be in he right place and time to even have a chance of seeing this shipment? Better yet how would he know what the shipment really was?

@Gweedo—-No need to see a memo. He could just monitor the inside of the vault, & also see the inside of the door lock mechanisms to open it.

At least now I understand how the HSB came to have $4000000000.00 in its vault (plus its “usual amount of cash”)!If what Sam says is correct, then either the bank president is a gangster or someone must have had eyes on him (and maybe ears, too).Who could that be, hmmm?

Very true. Mr. Staton’s artistic skill is excellent especially with the human form. Sparkle and Bonnie both have been so enjoyable all these years. I can especially remember Sparkle in the Big Boy’s contract.and Bonnie during her run when her baby brother was born.

Mysta however has been a ‘fanning’ experience. Such a stunning beauty both in physical, and mental aspects.

—Joe Staton does a marvellous job with Bonnie as an adult and to my ‘eye’ – with a degree of ‘attractiveness’ never quite achieved by other artists.Hair styling ? Perhaps, that’s a part of it ! ?And I’ll add. the opinion includes Chet’s adult version (usually) at Christmas time !

$4 billion. How many armoured trucks it would take to haul that amount?Was Specs at that particular bank at an opportune moment when a fleet of trucks showed up? Curiosity would have got the best of him and he would have taken an “inside” look.
