Since when do doctors take your weight and height readings? They normally leave that to their medical assistants.

Apparently Frank Nelson has become a regular at Gasoline Alley. Thank you! I can still hear the way he delivered his lines on the Jack Benny Show.

Now this is back to sharp humor, not like that deal about the forest animals and improbable scenario with the forest fire.

Sit back and enjoy the Nelson/Wallet trip. It’s going to be memorable.

I don’t understand the head-mounted reflector used by hundreds of cartoonists so as to denote a doctor. I’ve only seen ONE of the dam things in person in my 80 years and that was to have a country doctor look down my goozle to see if I really had tonsilitis. Luckily, I didn’t and still survive.(so far)

I love the Eddie Nelson appearances; but, was the “Dr Fracas” a reference to the Paul Harvey series of stories from the late 1970’s?

On the wall, behind Skeezix in the first panel is a sign that reads “good health to all” a tag line from vintage radio spots for Rexall Drug Stores. “Good health to all from Rexall!”
