If you removed all the stories that were inaccurate from a newspaper you would not even have the ads left (especially the ads!).

And if you write a story that one person sees as accurate, there’ll be five others who swear it is all wrong. Every time.

Nabuquduriuzhur: by your definition (being offended by the truth), Rush, Sean, Glenn, etc., are socialists. Hmm… it does explain a lot…

“All the news that’s fit!” I guess that’s the reason there’s nothing on the shelves to sell. Either there’s nothing to report or a complete sell-out.

Since offense is in the mind of the beholder, it is impossible to be totally inoffensive. Tolerance is the sovereign anodyne to offensiveness and we must ever strive within our own-selves to be niggardly with our feelings of offense!

Who needs newspapers when people interpret a blank space as proof of their particular world view?

What does this ‘toon have to do with socialism? Is Nabuq simply obsessed with denouncing everything he’s offended by as ‘socialist’?

why read newspapers when you can get all your news from web-sites and blogs that never offer an opinion that differs from your own.

Anyone with an agenda will find reason to be offended by an “opposite” point of view.

This prescient point illustrates the main excuse why there is not 1 universal religion, but tens of thousands of religions, each accusing another of being a “false” religion.

Note to nab: that you think Hitler a socialist is hilariously misinformed and may explain why you seldom find rush at fault. Try looking up the def. of Fascist. RIGHT wing folly on the par with far LEFT socialism. You really need a real history lesson,

Any story, true or not true, will have a protagonist and an antagonist. Through human error and making it more exciting, someone will be offended that they didn’t get their fair representation or that what was published was wrong. This comic strip makes so much sense…maybe the ekert will populate this newsstand!
