Great, now I’ll be on tenterhooks all weekend.

Did the appeal of Miami’s old-school architecture win out? Not that it matters, since True will probably destroy his shoulder while playing baseball this spring.

By school, I’m not sure if True means Milford or his college choice. Have to think it will be Miami (Ohio).

I’m not sure what Gil’s doing with his left hand under the desk, but I’m pretty sure yesterday’s MUT has something to do with it. He certainly doesn’t look happy about Tru(e)’s interruption in P1.

There are things that make Thorpaholics feel at ease. The Gil mug, Tru’s 1987 hairdo, frequent hand dominant panels and pool boys who concoct tasty mimosas. GilPa will be rooting for good ol’ State U. this Fall.

Wouldn’t most elite athletes discuss this with their coach before reaching a decision?Do we know where Gil went? Did he play any sport in college?

Looks to me like Gil is sitting in a wheelchair in P1. Isn’t that a wheel next to his right elbow?

P-1: one electoral vote for Brown Star FishP-4: Actually coach, Boo decided I should attend an all boys school. I’m not Catholic; but I’m heading to Holy Cross. Boo will fit right in with the local girls. She heard they’re known by a Latin name. The boys are always saying that they’re going “piggun”. She’s not sure what the translation means but I’m sure with her looks, she’ll fit right in.

Here is my prediction for Monday’s strip. P1 will feature Gil saying, “Don’t keep me waiting, what college will you be playing for next fall?” Then in P2 Tru(e) will reveal the choice of……..UCLA. In all reality, I think the only two choices are Miami of Ohio and UCLA (his dad’s preference) unless he just throws out some random school that hasn’t been brought up yet. He made a big deal about one of the other guys from QB camp picking Miami, so unless the writing is totally inconsistent (what are the odds?) he won’t choose Miami.Confidence level in the UCLA choice – 50%Confidence level in the P1 content – 99%

Going to Oxford…to play Rugby, maybe Eton to row. After all, he’s a numb “skull”. If he leaves the country we won’t hear Boo from him for years.
