I don’t know how effective a baseball bat will be against ghosts.

Never have figured out why cartoonists insist on looking east for a crescent moon and thinking it’s early evening with the “horns” of the moon pointing to the right. IT DON’T WORK THAT WAY.

At least they’re in the spirit of the thing. That was, however, the wrong question to ask in the circumstances.

To all those complaining about how the depiction of planetary phenomena is wrong:

I once saw a movie where they had a solar eclipse on the day after a full moon. I know it’s just a movie (or cartoon for that matter). It still bugs me.

Well I learned something this morning…..I know it’s a comic strip, but I never paid attention to the direction the points of a crescent moon faced. Thanks to those that “pointed” it out…I’m going back to bed now. Tomorrow I hope to learn something else.

Reminds me of an April Fool’s joke from yesterday, even if they’re zombies rather than ghosts.

In India a few days ago some idiot beat a woman to death thinking she was a ghost.

I’m taking my best friend of 35 years backpacking in the high sierra this summer. I am comfortable in the wilderness off trail and without a tent in clear weather but this will be her first trip. Must come up with some good bear stories!

I hear there is going to be a new group of female Ghostbusters.

@leftwingpatriot,I suppose Calvin hired Hobbes to be a ‘hit’ man, but I don’t think Hobbes has a ghost of a chance with a baseball bat.

It’s a well-known fact that cartoonists go into this line of work to avoid math (and science) for the rest of their lives, having stunk at it all through school. There are many of us who choose our career fields based on the same criteria and are thus able to just laugh at cartoons and move on without overanalyzing the details. It seems that Calvin also doesn’t have five fingers on each hand, poor kid. :D
