Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
But at least thereâs no dialogue in this strip, otherwise we might have to hear the words that will strike terror into the soul of even the boldest of men.
Lio rolling around on the ground reminds me of when Cybil played that prank on Lio (putting cat food in his cereal), and she was rolling around much the same way.
Lio, get ready for some comeuppance. Dad will get his revengee Iâm sure. Weeeeeee.
I donât think itâs Cathy in undies thatâs horrifying Lioâs dad so much as the creeping infestation of insipidity that is embodied in the very existence of Cathy, and her devoted fans.
If she and Ziggy got married, theyâd give birth to The Family Circus. And their pets would be Garfield and Marmaduke.
And then I would have to poke out my eyes with a shrimp fork.
While we shouldnât be encouraging people to be overweight - those with weight problems donât deserve to be ridiculed, mocked or treated with any less respect than any other human being.
@ChukLitl Just in case youâre serious, the law firm of Dewey, Cheetum and Howe is a famous one in cartoons. I think I first saw them in a Bugs Bunny short, and they also appear on NPRâs âClick & Clack - The Tappet Brothersâ. (Sound out the name of the firmâŠ)
If LiĆ wanted to make his dad happy, he would have pointed the telescope in the direction of Yenny (http://www.gocomics.com/yenny/2010/08/11/) rather than Cathy!

Huh. I was just thinking that Cathyâs stomach looked amazingly smooth, but I am a stretch mark queen with twin sons. TMI? :D
Oh, and Dewey, Cheetham and Howe were also in some of the Three Stooges routines. Funny stuff.

The joke isnât on fat people. The joke is on Cathy. Check out the âcomicâ sometime to see what is so deserving of vicious, incessant mockery.
