P2 guy’s probably taking out the incessant ragging he gets from male pattern baldness at his age. Either that, or he had a brief career as a monk during January break, and his tonsure’s growing back in.

Of course the coaches are okay with it. Gil and Mimi would have to actually show up and they were both in the strip yesterday so we’re likely not to see them again until baseball and softball start.

Isn’t it cute the way Menzie and Bacon are wearing matching pants in P1. Now that’s Tru(e) love. Nice shine on that floor, too Mop Man.

Friar Tuck makes it rain while ragging on Maxwell. Bacon is sizzling.

Fat Chance must be the younger brother of Slim Chance, the singing pitcher from a few years back. Come to think of it, those two terms mean the same thing, which doesn’t make a lot of sense.

In all reality, @ chiphilton what about the other Chance sibblings brother No Chance and sister Takea Chance ?

Kaz Held Hostage: Day 17. Not sure he’s really a character in this strip anymore. No story has involved him and when he shows up, he’s got one line and then disappears for another long stretch. Oh, well. Since Gil and Mimi just appeared yesterday, he’s all I’ve got to count. (No, I’m not going to count Moon; it’s unkind to make fun of him when he’s off in rehab.)

And we now see why we have so many school shooting. Bully starts something someone puts them in their place, and society punishes the victims not the bully.

The Thorps just don’t give a damn anymore. Last year Gil suspended a player and fired his team manager for M&M abuse, this year felonious assault means nothing. And speaking of nothing, there is nothing special about today’s Mopped Up Thorp but you may as well read it anyway.
