It looked like Sal raised the chicken quite well in the 2nd panel.

I’m well aware of Stephan’s style and humor, but I have to admit I cannot help finding this strip in particular very cruel on the pour chicken. I would rather see the chicken strike back on Sal instead.

What’s the problem? All chickens get executed eventually…..

Why would Goat have a friend that’s a killer? Rat or Guard Duck, maybe…

Slow down, guys! We don’t know that Sal is a killer, only that he “knifed some guys.” We don’t even know that the “pour” (phony Irish accent on St. Patrick’s Day?) chicken is dead, only that it has lost some feathers (no blood).Why does everyone think the worst of Goat’s pal Sal?! Give a guy a break so he can rehab successfully!
