When a woman dumps a guy, she has a reason. When a guy dumps a woman, he’s an idiot.

I saw it happen, and even I don’t believe him.

Why are Francis and Teddy not believing Nate? He dumped Kelly in 2001 with a detention slip, and they believed him then.

Ok so it never really felt like an actual relationship. When they got together, they hung out but it felt like more of a good friend relationship trying to be forced into a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship. She was even initially hesitant to date him because he was a sixth grader. Then they weren’t even really spending as much time together. Trudy constantly was around her friends rather than him and Nate constantly wanted to be around his friends rather than her, even when they were out together. They eventually broke up because she prefers to hang out with 7th graders, which was initially the problem. Nate is a 6th grader.

Y’all probably knew this, but there was a musical play done of Nate three years ago in the Washington, DC, area, which I totally missed somehow. The aftermath

Nate would probably not have had an issue with missing his friends if he had fun at those things Trudy got him to, or he had spoken up to wanting to go to the cartoonist meetings.

I think personally that Mr. Pierce would have designed Trudy so similar to Nate then have her just leave for good. But tante my opinion

Nate has loyalty to his friends, this is nice to see as they still divided their time when they had girlfriends. I’m still hoping that we will see them get back together. I think there were more good story lines and it would be cruel to bring them together just to break them up.

Best friends act like that because they can. They know you so well, they know exactly what buttons to push and how far they can push you. If Nate’s friends had been listening to him at all these last few week, they would know how miserable he has been for missing out on everything. All that for a girl who doesn’t even care about his feelings.
