The man in the second panel looks like a Methodist.

Good news! Guard Duck is in today’s strip! That makes up for most problems the strip may have.
Sherlock Watson almost 9 years ago
If that’s how big Slylock’s butt is, it’s no wonder he usually wears a cape.
Templo S.U.D. almost 9 years ago
Uh… aren’t we a little late for the April Fools Day comic strip switch?

Other than Rat, I think he committed suicide.

Dang it – I had my money on Bildert being the killer, figuring he’d be jealous that he hadn’t been used in years…
(And it looks like he hasn’t been keeping up with his grooming. having grown a fifth clump of hair he never had before…)

For a man who’s been stabbed repeatedly there’s remarkably little blood.

I smell a Rat.

Such a brilliant sendup of the inane Slylock Fox. I like to say that the Slylock puzzles are always either stupidly obvious or impossible.
Kristiaan almost 9 years ago
Probably a setup by his ex-wife.
Strod almost 9 years ago
I love the newspaper headline: “Cartoonist’s wife Staci makes him quit.”

I couldn’t read a thing, not one thing in this comic.

I was doing okay until I got to the find the differences game..I couldn’t find the first five differences, just the last one.

I like Slylock, it is like Brain Games. This reminds me of the old Mad Magazine satires.
Chad Cheetah almost 9 years ago
Actually, no one yet has complained about the “screw it” in the last panel. So Pastis was wrong!
whiteheron almost 9 years ago
It was suicide. Pastis ran into his own knife 47.2 times.

The difference that stood out to me is that the bowling ball in the top panel is 11-3/4 lbs, and the one in the bottom panel is obviously 12 pounds. Now, can you find one difference in this comment?
Vonne Anton almost 9 years ago
Another difference: One panel was drawn on Tuesday, the other on Wednesday.*Actually this is my favorite Pearls in a long time! Inanely hilarious! (Note: make up new word – Inarious? Hilanelery? Anally Hilly? Oops…censor in radar range, Captain!)

I figured Dilbert was the killer; Adams has been including a lot of death in his recent arcs.

I am incredibly offended by Stephan’s use of “screw it” in today’s strip. That’s one.
A_NY_Outlaw almost 9 years ago
after today’s hellish strip Cartoon Boy, you’re lucky it wasn’t your readers.
laurenpaul almost 9 years ago
10. Man’s wrist has one less stripe.
TonyFromTheWoods almost 9 years ago
Laughed my arse off. Only Stephan could find a way to make himself the center of the universe whilst making a game of it, and poking at his un-family. Only wished he had been looking up the skirt of the Censor while spread out on the floor.

I’m offended by the use of “screw it.” The F-word is more expressive and should’ve been used.
Darth Stevious almost 9 years ago
Gah! I can’t read any of the smaller print! I enlarged and nope. Zoomed the web page and it became illegible. Gah!

What the f*#ge! I can’t believe Pastis would use the word “Sc*#w” in a family comic strip! Color me offended! I will be canceling my internet connection immediately.

The black squiggle is what comes out of the cars tailpipe.

Wow, I love this. Something different for a change.
Unfortunately, I don’t have time to do any of the puzzles though.

It was obviously the Syndicate in revenge of yesterday’s strip.

?????????of course you can’t draw a car if you can’t screw it.(where should the commas go) so get your screw driver out and offend more people. =i am offended, you are offensive, they will offend. will the jocularity ever end off (get it?)??????????

Dear lazy cartoonist,Cartoon viewing is supposed to be a passive entertainment. Your onerous requirement in today’s strip indicates you lacked the creative juices to make one. Please drink a red bull and get back to work. It’s either that or lawyering.

“If you played the game in the normal fashion”-Perhaps, but I took it as a personal challenge, and none of those make any difference to me personally.

A good parody of that inane & humourless comic.
bigcatbusiness almost 9 years ago
Oh no. Now who will do more of these comic strips? Who could have done this? This is a ratastrophe!
Sisyphos almost 9 years ago
Oh, shoot! Mr. Snuffles didn’t get to use his grenade! Slylock was too fast with the knife!—Or, was he?Oh, screw it! I confess! I did it! The puns, the puns, and having to extract the blown-up (and yet he didn’t use the grenade) version of this strip and rotate it and flip it! This is not a flippant false confession. I really did it!
