Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for April 16, 2016
Transcript:
Alice: Look at this stuff! Whatever happened to the Blammo cereal I knew and loved? Alice: They took out most of the sugar, all of the color, and replaced the marshmallows with raisins! Alice: Why did they mess with perfection? Mom: Because they found that Blammo cereal turns your innards neon orange. Alice: In many cultures, neon orange innards are considered stylish.

When I was a kid – back in the Stone Age, I’ll admit – the choices were oatmeal or Puffed Wheat. On a bad day, it was Take it or Leave it. I generally took it. Didn’t like it, but I took it.

Alice is clearly a budding conservative. “Everything was better when I was young(er), and should always be that way!”
