Boy: Frazz, how much faster do you swim with a swim cap on? Frazz: Studying aero/hydrodynamics, I gather? Boy: I'm assuming you pull it down over those ears.
without a swim cap Frazz looks like a taxi cab going down the street with it’s doors open. (at least that is what my swim coach told me when I was a kid) I used mine like hydrofoils.
I’m using my spare time for the absolute pleasure of reading Frazz from the beginning. Jef didn’t draw him with big ears in 2001. Taking a look back confirms my (and many others’) initial reaction: Jef is the best and most creative cartoonist ever.

All depends on how fast he can wiggle ’em.

Those aren’t ears, they’re hydroplanes.

It explains why Frazz never wins any swimming competition

Frazz usually has an answer for shots like that. But not today. Maybe tomorrow?

I thought Frazz used his ears as flippers… or rudders.

You know, I was actually about to mention that. Why do the kids in this strip always point when they talk?

Give Frazz a feather, and he’ll fly through the water!

Sorry, my friend. You seem to have totally missed the point of my post. I’ll just leave it at that.
