Who knew Arlo was so into literature?

I thought I was reading their Christmas letter.

Only two in this Greek chorus? What a Spartan production.

Plot device.

The ancient Greeks used it to add volume and gravitas. It doesn’t work in writing.

Hats off to the “Arlo & Janis” classical literature fan club! Haven’t heard the chorus from “The Frogs” (Euripides?) for AGES! Reminds me of that corny joke: the guy takes his pants into the tailor, who asks, “Euripides?” and the guy responds, “Yes. Eumenides?”

This is what “old married couples” do – finish each other’s sentences and/or say the same thing at the same time.

saw the “shimp” Meg on Sat. strip. wonder if the character will be the 1st transgendered character in a daily strip?

The print font in this strip looks weird.

If they each had their own bubble, this could have been the first comic strip in stereo.

Meg doesn’t seem at all anxious to me. She only acts like she’s eager.

I didn’t know they were Greek!

How could they possibly say the same thing at the same time? They don’t know what the other is going to say.

Why is the little girl “anxious,” when she should be eager "to take her egg-selling business . . .?

Aristophanes is RIDICULOUS!
