Getting back to Niav/Putty Puss, it seems that Tracy knows just where to find him, so I wonder if he’ll get there in time to stop a murder.

I know others complain about bad guys returning, but I love the way Mike and Joe are mixing old and new characters, like Screwball, Pokerface, Putty Puss and the Haf-and-Haf reference.

Hey – you think WE’VE got problems? Think of those poor folks over at Arkham Asylum – that guy with the green hair keeps escaping over and over again…

As much as I enjoyed the visit to Matty Squared, I’d have rather seen the interrogation of the doctor. I think it would have built tension leading to the scenes with Screwball and Pokerface.

know what I see when I read this strip/storyline?!?! I see a fire with WAAAAAYYYYY too many irons, and in the distance I think I hear the distinct whistle of an oncoming train!

Happydale was also the name of the sanitarium Mortimer was finally able to commit uncle Teddy to in 1944’s “Arsenic and Old Lace”.

Oddly enough if you go to comics kingdom it’s been colored. Looks great by the way.

Something indeed happened to Haf and Hal but that’s a story for the future.

My view is that this arc does not need another resurrected old villain (Haf-and-Haf, Tulza Tuzon). So, I hope that these Happydale creeps will keep their secret at least until another arc develops….

My Garrard is long gone but I’ve still got a Thorens 125 MKII and a pair of Denon tables. The issue these days is finding someone knowledgeable about phono cartridges on the market.

“No Sir! Everyone knows to keep that secret.” We don’t know whether the Asp is in the patrol car or not, and it seems suspicious that they didn’t bring the older Happydale employee in to MCU. (Nah – Haf and Haf is probably for a future storyline.)

We don’t see him today, but isn’t The Asp in the car with them?

It’s hard to say if The Asp is with them today. Previously, he was sitting on Tracy’s right, but Tracy seems to be on the passenger side of the car. Maybe Asp has had his fun for this storyline.

I agree that Notta has not thought this out very well. Since she is in the video she is implicated in one way or another. If Tracy catches Screwball regardless of if he gets to Putty Puss he could squeal on Notta. If Putty Puss is killed Notta is an accessory since she gave his address to Screwball. She is not going to get her revenge but she bought a lot of trouble for herself. This can’t end well for her.
