I remember when this first came out. It was not too long after “The Day After” was on TV and “Wargames” with Matt Broderick and Phoebe Cates was in the cinema.

I hate it when I go to the bank and the teller starts frowning at the computer screen and stops typing. “Is anything wrong?” “Um, no, no”! Still frowning and staring!!

The insinuation, from the comment that Opus says in the 4th panel, is that this has all happened before. Hmmm…

Actually, the basement of the local library is probably your best bet. If it’s a very old structure (pre-1960, say), the crackers might be a little stale, but it should be well-protected. If it’s modern design… kiss your fanny goodbye.

Lets hope there are a lot of books to read in that shelter and you don’t accidentally step on your glasses
