Sounds good to me.

Said not to “murder,” not “kill.” If you’re going to go all Biblical, God gave a Hebrews a list of meat animals they could eat.

if you translate the commandments as originally written, it’s literally “No Murder”. big difference to what christians want you to think.

The commandment says “though shall not MURDER”. Murder is something done to another human being. God also told us to go forth and multiple and to have dominion over the earth. The bounty of the land – animals, vegetables and fruits – are there to help us be bountiful and for our nutrition.

And, yes, there ARE moral absolutes. Though shall not murder is one. Defending one’s life against a murderer is another.

The horrors! Just think how many pepperonis had to die to make your pizza!!!!

How long should they hold them? They’ll look pretty silly standing there with a handful of tiny fish.

I would have thought the words in the third panel would be upside down.

But what about the poor cows, stuck in a barn, so we can turn their milk into cheese? Personally, I go for extra cheese on my pizza.

And what about all the wheat plants that gave their lives to become flour for the pizza crust? Or the tomatoes that were CRUSHED to make sauce? Oh, the horror! THE HORROR!

Glad to find out that pizza doesn’t exploit animals. That did have me worried.

Moderation is not a bad thing.

As long as they hold the anchovies, pizza is God’s gift to this imperfect world….

Oh yeah, but not the sausage and pepperoni. Gotta love the good solid liberal approaches to sensability.
