If you can’t handle the new, don’t have kids.

I don’t mind new. Why, just last week I upgraded from wax cylinder to 78’s.

Some things are better as time goes on, some are worse. Colorized movies and frozen tofu are definitely inferior to leaving art intact and ice cream.

I haven’t seen a colorized movie that was an improvement over the original.

“New doesn’t necessarily mean good.”………Something I’ve said many times when seeing people do house renovations on television.

I prefer getting ‘old’ to the alternative.

One of Orson Welles’ last wishes was not to let Ted Turner colorize his films… using the word, “crayons.”

occasionally a colorized move worked but what ted turner missed was the fact that the films’ cinematography was based on black and white. it wasn’t just they didn’t have color, but they knew how to make the shadows of grey work.

They’re reading Kindles now? I still miss the clay tablets we had when I was a kid. They had the look and feel of a real book.

To watch a colorized film in black and white, all you have to do is turn down the color on your TV. Also works for old TV shows that you watched on your black and white TV and thought ever after that tht’s the way they should be.
