So bit of a personal ramble: I used to think the revivial of bloom county made Milo more of a jerk. Turns out i’d forgotten , and was rmeinded on rereading the later stuff.. MIlo was always kind of one. That may also be why Steve got flip flopped: Milo could serve his roll as Opus’ bully and he may of temproarily run out of material for steve as was. The thing is earlier in the strip it’s a bit more charming and his sleezneess in politics contrasts with his morals elsewhere. By this point he’d sold opus out (Which was comedy gold as Opus gave him all the guilt he richly deserved), sold out his morals and changed from a whimsical if cynical as heck kid who messed with people to fun to a pretty souless kid who dosen’t seem to really care for those around him.
I have to wonder… We have a president who has obvious mental impairments due to age. According to reports, many of his supporters are encouraging him to bow out of the race. Then we have Trump, who is arguably a narcissistic sociopath, and mentally unstable because of this. Have ever had an election cycle so bereft of competent candidates? Could this finally be the year of the Libertarian??
