I also agree with TOMOTH. A lot of people don’t believe in the bible or hold it sacred. What then? - As far as the comic – I’m sure his mom also told him never to do whatever crime brought him there.
Now, for those who won’t “swear,” the wording has been provided as….“do you solemnly affirm that the evidence you are about to give is the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, under pains, and penalty of perjury?”
