Dogs and cats are better than dogs or cats.

I don’t know about Ludwig, but my cats are happy to see me when I come home. And they like to curl up with me and my wife when we’re watching TV in the evening.And I don’t have to take them out for a walk in bad weather.

Dogs are for energy, Cats are for peace. Yin and Yang.

With cats you have to earn their love. It’s not a given with dogs. Some dogs are so desperate it’s just not worth it. Plus I’m allergic to dogs.

I’m allergic to not having dogs and cats.

Cats are a higher life form that has learned to train humans to provide all their needs. They also are uncanny at detecting phonies and bad character. If your cat doesn’t like somebody, consider yourself to be on notice!

But….bunnies do show jumping, agility training, all sorts of tricks, are potty trained like cats (only don’t smell!), eat hay and veggies, love to be petted, and are gorgeous! (They also live ten to twelve years, some longer, and are a big responsibility, so learn about them before adopting one.). They make wonderful animal companions.

Let’s see. Humans will feed the cat, carry in clean litter and take away the dirty one, will not dare move when a cat is spread on one’s lap, will admire every pose, and will not ask slavish loyalty and desire to please in return. The cat is definitely the winner. Why should it lower itself to the level of a dog?

Obviously Ludwig knows cats aren’t doing so bad in the PR dept because even in my local daily comics page today it was cat-themed strips 3, dog-themed 0.

My little Vlad ALWAYS is happy to see me. He ALWAYS greets me at the door. And yes, he’s a cat.

Cat owners never need to buy mousetraps.

My cat can sit on command- even a sign command, shake hands, give you five, and stand up on her hind legs if you ask her to. She also waits at the door for me to get home from work and knows when the mailman comes. Dogs got nothing on cats – it’s just like dogs, you gotta train ’em.

Cats prevent the plague. That’s really all they need to do.
