One does hope that the incoming call is from Blaze. Time is short, given that Notta wants to bug out. Blaze and Notta are on the Person of Interest screens that Lizz and Sam are facing as Tracy types and his phone rings….Do we spring into action tomorrow? Arrive at Notta’s place Saturday? Make the collar Sunday?

At least if they don’t act fast, she’ll get away. Hopefully, Blaze can make her preparations quickly.

Ah…Looks like Tracy’s about to fall for the old “electric joy-buzzer telephone handset” prank…

Something tells me that the partnership between Notta and Blaze is about to explode into a nasty hot mess.

I know I’m probably wrong, but I’m expecting Mr. Bribery to show up at Notta’s door, and not with a smile on his face.-After all the money Bribery’s spent making Notta happy and Purdy safe and sound, she went out of her way to publicly expose herself (like a bearded Kim Kardashian), with a plot guaranteed to bring Tracy after her. She didn’t think about the risk it posed to Purdy; with her back in jail, Purdy could end up in a hospital, where Mr. Bribery wouldn’t be able to get at him.With the inevitable crash and burn of her plan (Notta’s not the sharpest crayon in the box), Bribery must have been waiting for a call from her begging for more help. (New safe house? With hot tub? Moving crew? Sanitizers to remove evidence and fingerprints? Etc.? You betcha.)-So I wonder how much longer, Mr. Bribery will be willing to play Santa Claus to Notta (especially if she’d opposed letting doctors near Purdy).He may take one look at Blaze, and decide he can trust her to care for Purdy more than Notta, and…

I see Notta behind bars as an accessory for the attempted murder of Putty Puss, as well as fraud.

Notta behind bars? I don’t see it. Putty Puss is certifiably insane, so his testimony won’t count for anything. Screwball? All Notta gave him was an address. We know Notta’s intent was for Screwball to take out Putty Puss, but proving that intent in court would be a serious challenge, even if Blaze testified. I’m not convinced the police have sufficient grounds to even charge Notta with anything at this point, I really don’t. Even the video, the most Tracy could hope to do with that is slap Notta with a CIVIL suit for defamation, etc., but that wouldn’t involve any criminal charges. If Notta IS arrested and Bribery brings in Mr. Cleen as her attorney, the odds are good that she will be on the streets again within a matter of hours.

I’m having a hard time following how much time is elapsing within the storyline. It seems like the last few weeks of strips have only covered a very few days.

“She wont let mad doctors work on her bro but maybe a “happy” scientist via Smith Corp. can have a go at at least some partial restoration of Purdy.”…………………I think you might be onto something there, Gweedo. Quite a few of us are rooting for Notta to reform and really want that to happen. If Diet was allowed to task his team with helping Purdy and had success with that, and could also prove to Notta that Purdy running out in the cold was his choice and not Tracy’s, I could see Notta being released from the anger and bitterness that have controlled her life. Imagine the drama of a story like that? I would so love to see something like that happen. Notta’s had literally everything stacked against her since her mother died at age one. She grew up an orphan and took care of her brothers, got mixed up with and married George the criminal, suffered at the hands of Piggy, and has endured years of misery for her bad behavior. If Littleface and Mole and Blaze can reform, why not a popular character like Notta?

Despite telling Blaze to call they should be having round the clock surveillance on that place !

I think the problem with that is that Notta may be paying attention to what’s going on around her home and they don’t want her to suspect that she’s being watched because that would cause all sorts of problems.

I still get the nagging feeling that Notta’s gonna get out by herself …

Well, if she genuinely does care for Purdy, she won’t leave him behind, and she’ll want to bring Blaze to look after him.

Makes ya wonder if Tracy didn’t do some preemptive retainering ?

If he did, that was a very smart move, despite Sam’s shock at the idea when he found out about it.

Maybe Mr. Kleen has a brother who could handle Notta’s case? How about Mr. Not so Kleen?

Bribery may not have known the full intent of what Notta’s plan was so may have given her the help without approving her plan. It doesn’t look like a plan Bribery would’ve thought of but he did have a lot of schemes that failed back in 1965-66. Attempting to Kill Moon Maid got him and Ugly Christine zapped and sitting in the snow. The plot to kill Tracy using the boiler and Matty Square was incompetent. Bribery even failed trying to throw Square’s cat into the water.
