They care for everything from butterflies to whales… and everything in between… except whaling ships.

With Henry at the cannon, they may not be too worried.

Um….no. At the first sign of any armed or aggressive contact intervention tactics, the japanese whaling ships would have even more heavily armed japanese navy ships escorting them on their “scientific” research whaling expeditions. That’s why the Sea Shepherd employs frustration techniques to try to draw worldwide attention to this morally questionable practice. But more power to you, Henry. Your heart’s in the right place.

Considering how much of the whale meat coming on to the dinner tables in japan after “science ships” handled them, its one of the few exceptions I don´t mind.

They should merely admit they are hunting for meat and find a sustainable number to take. Like the seal pups of the Arctic and cattle of all sorts, they are a renewable resource that can be managed for long term exploitation.

So exploit them sustainably – it’s what humans, indeed, all predators, do. After all, the whales don’t bother with how cute krill are before they eat them. And I’ve had it with the “cute” animals getting all the press, anyhow.

I’m not sure those are cannonballs. They look more like Louie’s old doggie bags from the park. A good way to get rid of them.

Is there a Pulitzer Prize for a comic strip? In this case, their should be.
