@Last Rose of SummerThe specialist said when I can’t see anything, the cataracts are ripe. I told him that wasn’t funny at all, considering the waiting list for the surgery.
Despite what the TV cartoon shows would tell you, it has been my experience that whenever cats and dogs are together, either in a household, or outside, pity the poor doggies:cat dominance #1:
laughingkitty…Hope everything went well at the vet. I just went through an issue where my oldest Bengal had an issue where the 15 year old scars on his scrotal sack swelled up and became lumpy and formed nodules. I thought he had kidney problem but we fixed it with antibiotics and ointment with pain relievers. An ultrasound did show his bladder had shrunk to the size of a pea though. He is doing fine now. Hopw yours gets better soon.
Dang! Joy has stones! She needs special very expensive food (8 pounds $29, if I remember right). And the real challenge is how to keep her out of the regular food and the others out of her food (way too expensive to let everyone eat it). And to do that for the rest of her life (probably) She’s only 2 years old, so I expect at least another 15 years from her. There was also some blood and some red and white blood cells. Other stuff was good though – no diabetes or other bad stuff. But stones are bad enough. I was hoping it would just be a bladder infection that we could treat with antibiotics but was fairly sure it would be stones.
Comments on robo-calls the past couple days had me laughing. It was almost enough to make me want to get another one so I can try out t he fun stuff (how do you get lots of blood out of a rug/ etc). But I never answer the phone when I don’t recognize the phone number on caller ID. Maybe I’m missing out on fun and maybe I ought to try pranking the callers.
And the above conversations are the reason I love this strip. You have a problem with your kitties, there is someone who went thru the same problem and offers advice.Kudos to everyone who helped laughingkitty. You guys are the best!
Thanks for the wonderful response to Laughingkitty’s problem. The suggestion of getting other vet’s opinions is a winner. And….making sure the cat in question gets extra wet food.

Admittedly, for a topic like this, there has to be some video. This compilation should be satisfactory:
Dogs prove cats are superior, but dogs have more fun
(The above is a link, if you click on it you will be taken to the video mentioned.)

Since a bunnies tail is so short, if he wants to chaise a tail he needs a partner.

Good morning, everyone. Loving the pics so far today. Yum Yum caught her tail once. Only once. Scolded us for hours afterwards.

I don’t like dressing animals up. I don’t want to encourage it by posting pictures of dressed up cats, but the expression on this kitten is priceless!
