Mimi to Jefferson’s coach in P2, I appreciate that and I’m glad you pointed it out to me. It’s been years since I’ve actually showed up to coach a game and I couldn’t recall whether that was a part of your regular uniforms or not. Oh, and FYI, black helmets might have been more appropriate. We’re honoring Boo, you know.

So Central City sent a crew out to cover the game, but, where’s Marty? It’s beginning to look like he may be the grassy knoll of this story. Anybody know if he drives a pickup?

In all reality , P 2 the ump checking Mimi out is Marty Moon’s brother. Nice tribute by the ump Billy " Blue " Moon by wearing black also.

In all reality , the Hardy Boys investigation of the Missing Pickup and driver continues . Pedro has been observed using a bicycle and wagon to get to his landscaping jobs .

The Milford police are still pouring over P3 in the fatal strip.

Sooooo many questions on a Saturday. Did Dora the Explorer come back to coach softball and exact her revenge at Jefferson? Mimi looks surprised to see her old nemesis. Marty? His alibi is spending the Summer at Milford Downs chasing Doubles, Daily & Liquid. P3- Funky Winkerbean makes a guest appearance in Milford Masterpiece Theatre.

Hasn’t it already been postulated that Marty was driving the pickup?

I, of course, am sticking with my alien theory. The pickup and the body have been whisked off to Area 51.

Love the way the Jefferson coach points to the ribbon as she describes what it is. She must figure Mimi is pretty dense.

The arm bands would be a lot more dramatic if the Mudlarks were still wearing those sleeveless jerseys we saw previously. I assume the Jefferson team is wearing black ribbons not only in memory of Boo Radley but also as a tribute to the Jefferson player who is still in a coma after Boo beaned her in last year’s game. And it seems all the media in the valley are covering this game except for Marty Moon, so if he isn’t in fact in the hospital recovering from his pickup truck injuries, then he must be at the Betty Ford Clinic drying out. Now win one for the Biffer, team!

To follow up on Chip’s comment about the coach thinking Mimi ‘is pretty dense’. Panel one leads me to think R&W must think we are. “Addison (Boo) Radley” ???

Do they really think they need to explain that one to us? Bitsy I can’t believe you haven’t been all over that one.
