I saw a wren in my kitchen this morning. First one this year. Does that count for anything?

Whatever your feeling about bird watching, he had a dedication to something clean and good, and in the moment when he knew he was dying, he moved outside of himself and his mortality to accomplish the mission. Huzzah!

It would cheer me up, if I were her. Nothing can bring her loved one back but now she knows he was probably wildly happy when he died, not scared or miserable.
