Dogs also forget about porcupines season to season. Less stinky but rather more painful and possibly deadly.

My golden is the same way. Unfortunately, her “bad things” include remembering how to walk on a leash.

Run like the wind, Jonas… and run INTO the wind! And tell Henry to pick up some tomato juice pronto.

Dogs and skunks: There are those that learn the first time, and those that never learn. Louie seems to be the second type.

Critter Control hopefully caught that skunk that let go outside our house last Sunday…..neighbor hired them and they also caught a groundhog. We were gagging in our house. Now, if only the deer would disappear. Love this one, today, but everyday……….the whole family.

Well! I personally would never forget a skunk! However, the ones with the sticky things on them… I can never remember their name.

My parents had a neighbor that found a baby skunk and adopted it. It was as friendly as a baby puppy, and had no smell. I asked about how did they er, disarm it. I was told it hadn’t been disarmed, was fully loaded for bear. I felt really strange petting it after that.

One of our two current Border Collies, smartest dog I’ve ever come across, got caught twice within ten days by skunks. “Smart” has nothing to do with some things.

Been wondering why our yard has smelled like a skunk for a week or so…tonight we see a skunk digging into an underground hornet’s nest. Never knew they did that…probably hurts a little, but must be worth the meal.

Got asthma? Skunk spray, even from a distance, is more effective than inhalers. My neighbor used to have a dog that barked at skunks constantly. Must have been hellacious for her, but…
