Add some koi— they’ll eat the bugs.

Mosquito fish would help. So would floating a solar fountain in the pond.

Come on now. We all know that pond will end up becoming a cactus garden.

Mosquito Dunks, available at stores like Walmart and Lowe’s.No muss, no fuss, organic and non-toxic to anything other than mosquitoes and some other blood-sucking insects. You can even use them to make mosquito traps to cut down on the breeding population over time.

I had put in a pond about that size once, and it only took a couple of days for the mosquitoes to over take it. So I went to the pet store and bought a few cheap goldfish, and that was the end of any bugs in the pond.

Better to cultivate mosquito eaters so that they can begone cleanly. Including the squirming larva in the waters.

They need to put a bubbler in the pond. Mosquitos don’t lay eggs in moving water.

I thought this was going to be some form of “Shades of Gray” playfulness. Obviously I am wrong.
