Someone ought to remind him of the late Friedrich Engels… Though in all seriousness, take any first name, and you’ll probably be able to find someone with that first name that stands for things you hate, as well as someone who stands for things you love.

At least it’s that Freddy instead of that Bear, Freddy that would jump out and screech in your face!

Know who else was a “traitor to his class”? Winston Churchill! Also John F. Kennedy. TR, Churchill, and JFK — yeah, what a bunch of losers, huh?

    I figured it was that.

(incidentally, Theodore Roosevelt was a Republican)

I always think of Hayek with his “von.” He was actually a member of the Austrian nobility, but apparently decided it would be to his advantage to play that down. More reason for the kid to love him.

I had assumed he was referencing to Freddy Krueger.

Quite the masterful employment of the art of the pun there, Sedgie……droll, very droll.

denegrating president badass now? Dude was SHOT while delivering a speech and didn’t seek medical attention until he finished it. Frankly I think the only reason he didn’t leap off the stage and kill his would be assassin with his bare hands is because someone else grabbed him before he had a chance to.

Hey, I don’t mind a stuffy named Teddy, nor one named Freddy. The thing is, it’s Sedgie’s choice, and the Poor Little Rich Boy can get some sound sleep now, thanks to ever-faithful Jarvis. All is well in the Nuttingham household now (so far as we know)….

In an episode of “The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour” (“I Love Lucy”), guest Fred MacMurray confided to Lucy that his wife called him “Freddy-Bear.”
