I have three neighbors moving to Canada if the Democrat wins the election, and four moving to France if it's the Republican. I think the travel industry is funding these candidates.
I supported Bernie. That said, it seems to me that Hillary’s negatives have to do with her lack of charisma, unpleasant voice and the perception that she cannot be trusted. I think that the third negative mostly stems from the first two. Donald Trump has charisma and voice that seem to mask the fact that he is a proven liar who bends with the wind of popular fears and hatreds and who has no realistic ideas about how to make America “great again”. Hillary Clinton has a record of self-less service prior to her political aspirations and a proven record of working across party lines as a Senator. I’m not thrilled with her, but the choice seems to me to be a no brainer. I would not trust Trump with anything potentially more dangerous that a Fisher Price Busy Box.
Congrats to the McCoys for understanding that comic strips that aren’t on the op-ed page CAN be written in such a way to poke fun at both candidates and not slam either. He GETS it! The strip is NOT a talking point platform for readers to promote or blast candidates according to their own preferences (although that can’t be avoided, judging from the comments on any strip these days). Way to go, guys! It’s like a breath of fresh, non-political air!
By the way, this comment was posted on Mark Parisi’s comments page by mistake! Dumb enough on my part for sure. How much you wanna bet some idiot turns THAT into a political rant? :-)

And yet, I have yet to see a single one of those threatening to move do so [in the past].

How come the people who love socialism never threaten to move to Cuba or Venezuela? Isn’t Canada sort of more of an industrialized capitalist nation?

It takes $500,000 to move to Canada. I doubt any Trumpeteers would qualify!
