Rose: I'm sure that one is delicious...but this is a healthier cereal choice! At some point you have to start eating like an adult.
Jimbo: But that should be a gradual transition!
Yes, Rose, it is time to start eating like an adult. And adults eat what they like, not what some publish-or-die academic “nutritionist” says is “healthy” at the paid behest of some sell-it-or-die advertising crazy. “Healthy” is not a one-size-fits-all. Especially when the determination is made with money in view. So lay off, Rose!
That’s why I chose Post Mini Wheat Squares, Honey Nut flavor. It’s nutritious and delicious without having to add sugar. It has the highest fiber count of any cereal.
Hmmm, wonder what my cold cereal choices say about me. Cheerios, Cap’n Crunch and Corn Chex, any two and ofttimes all three in one bowl, usually with craisins or raisins.
Try being a diabetic with the attendant slow metabolism – bran with Truvia every day for years and years. And not raisin bran – that stuff is loaded with sugar.

In my late 20’s my doctor pointed out that Cheerios have about as much salt as potato chips. Fresh oatmeal with fruit ever since.

I’m 55 years old and was in a “Lucky Charms” rut a few months ago. Now I’m doing just regular “Corn Flakes”…
