I remember another “Pickles” strip where Earl even tried to fold a brassiere. He gave up after its cups kept popping back up.

Why would anyone fold a fitted sheet? Just wash, dry and replace the sheets until they are worn and then take a new set out of the bag in the replacement drawer. I cannot believe anyone would waste their time watching Martha Stewart, let alone watch her fold fitted sheets.

Fitted sheets are easy to fold once you know the trick.

I just bunch them up and put them away that way. They are non-wrinkle material. And no one sees a few wrinkles when they’re on the bed anyway.

Folding fitted sheets is easier if you include scissors in the process.

Simple, tuck 4 corners to become 2 and then 2 become one and fold over and then in 3rds……wala…….folded sheet. And I agree, I can tell if there is a wrinkle in my sheets so they must be flat and smooth but I would NEVER iron them.

YouTube, Earl. Learn this skill and dazzle your friends, or at least the cat.

I just flashed back to the early days of fitted sheets when Himself went quite insane to find his feet were trapped by a fitted TOP sheet. Iturns out that he MUST have one foot out of the sheets at all times. A primitive reflex, I believe, possibly dating back to the days when a man might be caught in the wrong cave?

There are videos on you tube that show you how to do it right. You can make it look just like a regular sheet. I have done mine that way. They may not be as smooth as the guy in the video’s but they look better than they used to!

Fitted sheets are one of those things I just pretty much crumple up and call folded…don’t have the time to figure that one out. No one’s gonna see them anyway.

As a Kid, if I had nothing to do, I didn’t do it at home, I still hold true that philosophy today. Even after 40+ years of marriage.

Jean, “wala” is spelled “voila”. Never stop learning.

Haha! I just asked a friend a few hours ago if she knew how to fold these damn things, and she said that she just balls them up and puts them away.

Once we had a CNA here who could fold those things. I wish I had gotten her to show me how to do it.
