Use all the data then block his when it’s used up. Mine charges $15.00 for very little when we go over. I don’t use it unless I’m traveling and need the map. I also agree with Betty, if you know where you are going then don’t need it. Son you need to pay your own bill. Then see how much you need data
I’m with Betty on this one, too. And it would be a cold day in hell before I let a child tell me what to do. I have a houseguest whose oldest child thinks he can order me about. He’s found out that isn’t happening.
I like how her son is helping her make use of all the technology on her phone. She may not need it this time, but if she ever does, she’ll know what she’s doing, thanks to Junior =)
I see both sides. I think it’s cool how Junior is ‘teaching’ his mom as well, but if you start using data for everything, even when you don’t need it, then you will end up paying exorbitant rates, not to mention missing out on a lot of real life. Balance is key.
Even better would have been for Betty to have pointed out that if she wanted that route, she could have gotten it before she left so that it wouldn’t have counted against her monthly quota. That would have turned the discussion into an example of planning ahead.

easy to waste stuff when you don’t feel the loss of weight of the wallet while you do it.
