Frazz: ? Caulfield: I'm that pop-up ad you keep getting since you shopped at elkhornexpeditions.com. You'll see me over and over until you give me candy, and then I'll bug you more. Frazz: Isn't your halloween schtick great books? Caulfield: Oh. Then "into thin air" or "the eiger sanction".

Well, one great book.

Could also be the book “The first deadly sin” – probably overdressed for that one though …

Pop-up is not scary; is annoying. I do not trust most of the ad sponsors, and don’t want what the rest are promoting. But then we have a choice of ads or paying. I simply put an index card over the ad space and continue.

One of my kids schools called yesterday (well, principal “robocalled”) and specifically stated students were NOT to dress in costume for today, as it was a “distraction from our learning environment”… GOOD GRIEF!!! Kids have enough pressure – let them enjoy the day. CLASSROOM parties do NOT have to be counter to learning.

dang Keep on…they missed an opportunity there to create costumes to “enrich” on of the regular subjects. Oh well

Keep on keepin on…I’ve been a teacher for 40 years and I agree that is just stupid….Kids need to have officially sanctioned fun..What a great teaching oportunity Halloween is, culturally, historically, socially…..Of course to a good teacher EVERYTHING is a good learning opportunity. It’s what we do….And don’t get me going about the so called Christians who believe it has something to do with the Devil. It is a sacred Christian Holy Day. It is the Holy Eve before All Saint’s Day, All Souls Day and All Martyrs Day…Misinformed religious people scare me mightily…..Ignorance wields a mighty sword….

what is eiger sanction about? is that like where eagles dare with clint eastwood and richard burton? and, into thin air isn’t about that guy who climbed down a mountain after getting injured.

It s obvious that this is not a Liberal school otherwise some would be on his way to jail for a carrying a deadly weapon. which back in the day was called a tool.

What is Frazz supposed to be?

Since when did Frazz get his right arm tattooed?
Pipe Tobacco about 8 years ago
What is going on with Frazz? Is he in costume (presumed)? I presume the arm tattoos are fake, and I have never seen him wear glasses before, so I do not know if that is a new addition to his needed vision or a prop for a costume. If it is a costume, I am not sure what he is supposed to be. Anyone else?

I think Frazz is supposed to be a hipster barista.

Schools are administered by folks with teaching degrees who couldn’t (or, at least, shouldn’t) teach. They probably would have been more dangerous if they’d become airline pilots, but not by much.

When I was a kid, we had Halloween Parades at school. Everyone would march around the playground in their costume.
When my kids were little, they did away with wearing costumes because someone might be upset that their costume was less expensive than their fellow students, Really!

Caufield’s explanation is definitely incomplete, I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s clue

Anyone curious about BigPuma knowing what a disconnected undercut is? I had to look it up,and I’m as cool as it gets in upstate NY! (Yeah. Right, Scoonz.)

The “beheaded” costume looks great.

I’m assuming that Frazz is a Starbucks barista. But I really like the Invisible Person. Caulfield’s would make more sense if his schtick was scary things.
