Nothing like being within the sphere of knowledge to dispel the fears of irrationality.

Looks like Wally has had enough and this story is going to pick up speed.

The ship found a particularly strong emotional power source in Holly. She’s got issues.

I’m assuming that’s the real Holly. Now our stalwart group is together again. Wally will explain to her (after he finishes punching the ditto recreation) about the ship. And the next question is, “Now what?” [I’m enjoying these unexpected twists and turns in the story.]

Seeing what he can do with dittos now, everyone could start fearing Wally.

“Oh Wally, it feels like I’ve been gone for a whole year! Actually Holly, it’s been 10 months and 10 days since you ran off into oblivion. So, what’s new?” ;-)

With the last major source of emotional energy gone, let’s see what this ship can do now.

Probably nothing.

wow. Good to see the gang back together! Would be great if they could all go home to Endtown and find it tolerable, and Kirbee could meet Wally’s best buddy, Tracey would hit it off.And Chic could make some friends with any Endtown kids after never having had any.Hope he becomes a normal kid.Happ endingsMakes me wonder why the ship wasn’t close to a city where it would have a feast of tortured souls. I just wok up, and the brain is still seeing double.

And the moral of the story is: Don’t walk into the obvious trap or a crazy computer will try to eat all your emotions.

Nice and early and finally reunited…and it feels so good.♫

I do hope this has cured Holly of her attitude and problems of late.

Heh! One of the fun things about this strip is making predictions and seeing then proved to be gloriously wrong. I believe about four strips ago I predicted that the computer would take Holly back to her last happy moments with Lyn, but I guess there’s a lot more energy to be milked out of sheer, brain-numbing terror; more like a recipe from ISIS.

There is also a lot to be said for the energy of Anger!

With these dittos, Wally is becoming a little like Green Lantern. What colour are these dittos anyway?

Wally is kind of like the Green Lantern. :-D

The ship has programming that makes it want to stay alive, so I doubt that this is the end of the ditto fight.

Well…that was easy…lol

The rule of three is: 3 minutes without air, 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food, 3 months without hope.

Endgame! The AI may have some fight in it left, but Wally has proven to be the stronger opponent. However there is this matter with Holly’s late husband Lyn that seems to be unsolved. Is he gone for good?? Time will tell.

I’m guessing the ship had a bit of a power drop during one of Holly’s flashbacks, just long enough for her to snap herself out of it, and knows that guy in the bubble ain’t Glenda the good witch.

“In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night, No Evil Shall Escape My Sight, Let Those Who Worship Evil’s Might, Beware My Power! THE DITTO’S LIGHT!”

He can travel through hells in a bubble and shape it into weapons to fight back by the power of will?

Wally IS ‘Ditto Lantern!’

Sock ’em to the left! Sock ’em to the right! Show that computer how you can fight! GOOOOOOO WALLY!!!

Now…let’s turn this computer-vampire thing off and get the hell out of here!

RIGHT! FREAKING! ON!!! Wally’s figured out how to make this thing work FOR him. Now we wait and see what’s going on with Holly. Well played, Aaron.
