Pull the trigger and the governor’s popularity goes up.

Normally I would take the side of the prisoners. But in this case, the prisoners being wealthy guys at club fed, I say pull the trigger and relieve the world of a bunch of high class thieves.

He’s a smoker, go ahead and shoot.

“I’m holding all the cards!”“That’s nice. My man is holding a sniper rifle.”

Nobody imprisoned in a high-security facility holds all the cards unless he goes by Colonel Hogan.

The fourth panel is quaint. These days there would be a red dot from a laser sighting.

Mr. Slackmeyer is caught in the cross-hairs of gubernatorial dictum and penal execution. In short, he’s screwed !

There is one big fallacy in all of this. This being a federal lockup, the governor has nothing to do with it. Maybe the federal Superintendent of Prisons but not the governor. (And yeah, I know. It’s a cartoon.)

So shoot, already…

I can’t remember if Phil was a smoker before. I guess it could be a prison affectation, but it would impair his tennis game in this prison.

Just because the world is watching does not mean they are sympathetic. Public sympathy for financial criminals at Club Fed demanding better Internet access to do their day trading is going to be minimal
