For those who might not know: Sean Penn held his first wife — Madonna — hostage and abused her when she tried to break up with him.

I knew the name, but I remember him best for his appearance on “Two and a Half Men”.

“Harmonic convergence”? ,“Divine energy is easily accessed”? Seems Trudeau knows the Dante Alighieri’s “Divina Commedia” -33rd canto – Paradiso: "l’Amor che move il sole e l’altre stelle. »(vv. 143-145)

1987: wow. It just doesn’t seem as if we’ve known Mr. Penn for the self-absorbed a__wipe that he is for that long.

The last time I saw the trees and skies some plasticine porters were loading them onto a lorry at the loading dock out back.

The concept of “divine energy” has been around way longer than the woo-woo folx from the Harmonic Convergence era (or their flaky counterparts of today, with their chi and chakras), but longevity doesn’t put the idea on solid ground by any means, any more than the still-widely-held idea that the Sun goes around the Earth.

Isn’t he the one who had a pizza delivered to his class at Ridgemont High?

    Penn’s SNL appearance was classic.

Mr. Penn’s last featured appearance was co-starring with Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, after señor Guzmán had made his great escape from the Mexican high security slammer.

Penn actually did some good work in NO after Katrina. He likes to be a take-charge guy and he did just that. Don’t know how many lives he saved, but it was some, and he did it on his own with common sense.

Talk about dated. Maybe classic strips should focus on milestones in the characters’ lives

True stories – #1 Sean Penn shoved my daughter TWICE – once in San Francisco in a crosswalk and once in New York City when she was ahead of him in line. #2 – Sean Penn pushed our friend to the ground when she was walking into a bakery in Larkspur, CA as he was walking out. FOR NO REASON. We don’t know the dude.

We find tungs in trees, sermons in stone, books in the running brooks and good in everything!
