I don’t follow music much.

In the late 70s I was working in a Tower Records store; I played Mott the Hoople’s version of ‘Sweet Jane’ and my co-workers were confused: the only version they knew was Lou Reed’s. Understandable in general, but a 1978 record store clerk should have known both.
