Try cream of asparagus for a change. It is great with chicken.

That was me for sure! Not so much now, though… too much salt. I used to hunt for the Cream of Onion and add my own fresh mushrooms.

I hate mushrooms, so when I was growing up,my Mom keep a lot of other Cream of soups, Everyone else liked the mushroom, so if I wasn’t eating she used that. I really liked the asparagus.

Curry power, leftover chicken, rice.

If you don’t use the entire can of soup, seal it up with duck tape!

Mmmm! I love mushrooms!

…..and to think; Back in ‘53, as a mere stripling, I used to stack these very 10-oz cans that sold for 14 cents per issue… Now (sticker shock!) they’re $1.79 !! I pity my descendants..I really DO.(Mama, can I have a gum-ball?? Huh?? Pleeeeze?!? They’re only ten dollars !!)
