And if Tony asks the same as the last few days again today, I’ll take that as an invitation.

@Tony Where do you live? Friends of ours will fly to Orlando this Wednesday…

Maybe that’s Tony’s question, too – “why don’t you eat less”? Well I don’t because I eat whatever my 18mo leaves me to eat…

I am one of the lucky ones, I eat what i want when i want and am always in good shape and i’m 62, it’s all in your genes. P.S. I do exercise once in a while but i am out on my property working a lot also, cutting trees , making firewood , making new trails, etc, etc,

I don’t try to eat less, I just try not to overeat, the food’ll digest easier and faster. Now, let’s see if you all can digest…

    Today’s “Daddy’s Home” Question:

Do you need to lose weight for the holiday?

I need to lose weight, period. Gone from a size 10 to a 16, and I’m NOT happy about it.

I have a wonderful and sure fire way to loose weight.1. take a mouthful of any food.2 chew it twice.3 If it tastes really good – spit it out, it’s bound to be fattening. 4 back to 1 but try something else

Earlier today, on Calvin and Hobbes, Night-Gaunt49 posted:

Suzie has no reason to be even thinking about bodily fat in beauty terms. But our sick society makes it plain they do. You need fat for your brain, “fat head” is really a good thing. Your body uses up to two-thirds of your carbohydrate consumption for your brain alone. Think of all those fat-free and low to no carb-eaters out there starving their brains.

    And I responded with:

I’m going to stop exercising and just spend time thinking really hard…

Yeah, lucky me. In fifteen years, I managed to gain a hundred pounds. And research shows that older people, such as myself, can lose about five pounds… and that’s it. It’s mostly due to eating excessively and a little about becoming less active. The truth hurts… my scale.
