I’m confused — is that big Ken Brown who makes things happen, or did he graduate? It is hard to tell since the baseball story went into September, but I thought he was a senior a year ago. Maybe it’s Akeem Archer? That’s a natural pairing with Aaron Aagard.
Geez, we went from the first basketball practice yesterday to baseball today. Nobody can accuse this strip of moving too slowly now.
So I take it A Quad is a new kid at Milford. Looks like they could have used him during that endless baseball season. Maybe Tru(e) would have made it to Wake before the 3rd game. Speaking of Tru(e), I might take a ride over to Annapolis to see him play in the Military Bowl.
Is the “Left Lane” the name of the warehouse or does he mean he was driving fast in the left lane to get to Milford from CC or none of the above? Hard to pick out proper nouns when every word is all upper case.
At first glance I thought Gil was telling Aagard to do pushups for 90 minutes. At least that’s what any half-decent coach trying to instill team discipline would have done. I think.
I think Aagard’s absence was conspicuous because he is the tallest guy on the team, the key to Milford’s season. Since Central City has already been mentioned, the season is DOOMED.
P-1: R&W do humor. I haven’t laughed that hard since Judge Parker. P-2: The condescending coach. P-3: Either BKB is using a fifth year of eligibility…or…R&W’s black kids all look alike. Protest, Protest, Milford Lives Matter.
Looks like AA has one of those “Fashy” haircuts that are so prevalent among those with “Alt Right” views. Perhaps that will be the story arc’s purpose.
