Murphy’s law of sandals – stones easily find their way in but are almost impossible to get rid of.

Since retiring to South Texas in 2003, I have been wearing only sandals for at least 10 and sometimes 11 months a year. Might look ugly wearing shorts and sandals, slipon sandals only, no straps, but I am comfortable and love the spring, summer, and fall heat.Jan and sometimes Feb are the only time I have to wear shoes.We moved from far northern Michigan as soon as youngest started college. Been retired for 17 years. Moved from living in the country to living in a suburb of the 7th largest city in the US. and we love it.

Stop whining, Earl. At your age, every day above ground is a GOOD day.
