While you were out buying stuff to give you more study time, you should have bought a slinky outfit. That might prove to be conducive to having more ‘study time’ with Gunther.

To those here who are more familiar with makeup, do the kinds of products Tiff has here really exist? And if so, is there any reason to think they are harmful?

@GROMIT82 : I’m not really sure, my wife doesn’t wear much in the way of makeup. Back in the 70’s or 80’s, wasn’t there a company that made 30 day deodorant pads?

Tiffany’s confession on Monday will be that her father required her to spend the school break with tutors to bring her grades up, rather than skiing, or he threatened to send her to the Pitt State School where Luann is…

Where does this fall in continuity …?

Due to the necessity of coloring, Sunday strips usually need to be prepped several weeks ahead of their daily counterparts …

… or so I’ve heard.

Tiff needs Gunther. Otherwise she could wind up a living mannequin.

I once read someplace that Sunday comics don’t always follow the story arc that is in the dailies because some papers print that strip only the dailies, but it isn’t in their Sunday paper. Continuing a story in the Sunday paper would make people who don’t get the strip on Sundays miss part of the story. Not everyone gets comics on the computer.

Glad Dez and Bernice stopped that. Tiffany primping all the time is like one of her defining characteristics.

Any of you posters still finding the “Stolen TV” storyline to be a bore?

Actually, Tiffany has a point. As she has often been preoccupied with her makeup in the past, and realizes she isn’t likely to break that long time habit soon, she’s found a way to compensate and allow herself less time to ’re-adjust" and more to focus on school work. I applaud her ingenuity. (or is it ingenue-ity ?)

That’s all right, Tiff. Education would be wasted on you anyway.

Poor Dez.. has to deal with Ms. Pre-caution and Ms. Post-caution. too soon for one, and too late for the other. I hope she doesn’t loose her vibe too soon because of them.

I think that Tiff does her own nails, hair, makeup etc. That is her love, her profession and it compliments her “primo condition” body.

About Tiffany’s education (wherever it’s going), just what IS Tiffany’s major, if any?

Yesterday, I got help on how to make text bold. Again, thanks very much! However, now I see some folks are using bold AND italics. How does one make that happen? Also, can we do an italics look without bold, just in case? Thanks in advance!

Yep, Tiff … instead of studying harder, make Priority #1 getting more durable makeup. BTW, I’m going to presume that we’ve never seen Tiffany without makeup, right? I understand her being so image-conscious and all, but just wonderin’. I do recall from the strip back during high school years that Tiff and Luann got along, albeit briefly, and actually compared makeup tips. Anyone else remember?

Poor Tiffany. She does something that seems to her to be perfectly logical to improve her grades, and Dez and Bernice blow it up in her face!

Talk about needing a Makeup Do-over!

There’s still time for Bern to switch her major to biology (or chemistry) and then apply to veterinary school, like she once wanted. She cares about animal welfare.

Tiffany seems to be the type of girl who feels that outfits, or makeup, or various kinds of outer accouterments are necessary for her to feel confident in general and to accompany something she really would not do unless motivated by her dad, or some other motivator. She would be an interesting source of behavioral motivations. I think her friends are not being mean or anything, perhaps they are a methaphor for how being dependent on artificial things are not good for Tiffany, but one thing I notice about her is that she does not seem to be spending all her time in strip trying to compete on one level or other with Luann That means a good thing, because I think an argument could be made that she secretly is jealous of Luann, but is getting better. I like Tiffany, she is so vulnerable.
