And Calvin is the rest, including the other toe

Ho ho ho…

This is one of the reasons you never ask a tiger to make a snowman.

And then he turns this one into a living snow goon.

And so… The snowman Colossus never got built….

Good to see that level of ambition.

When I was a kid the neighbors kids and others were building a large snowball in the backyard. The house was at the bottom of a hill, the backyard was at the top of the hill. My younger brother said let’s help. For once in my life, I used judgement and said NOPE! We watched them build it and then get away from them and head on down the hill. I don’t know why but it swerved and missed the house and took out a shed and broke in two. One half kept on moving to the street. Luckily NO CARS were coming. For once we didn’t get in trouble.

There’s snow business like snow business

like snow business I know.

Takes lots of work to build a really BIG snowman.

You know what they say about snowmen with big toes…..

Give that snowman a push.

If one of his toes is “too big to push,” then how are they going to make the rest of the snowman?

That snowman has developed a toe fungus…

Oh look who’s toe jam.

I grew up in Iowa and made many snowmen as large as I could, but after moving to Texas about 20 years ago, there was never enough snow. A lot of Texans will build what they can with a light dusting of snow, though. Little bitty things about a foot high, a mish-mash of snow, dried grass and leaves. I did get the fun of building a regular sized snowman in Austin on Valentine’s Day 2004, though. Used up just about every flake of snow that had fallen in the yard, though, and yes – full of dried grass and leaves. Kind of like, if you want good pizza, go somewhere other than Cancun, Mexico. Last really good snow in San Antonio was in January, 1985.

The Superbowl is being played here in Houston this year. (TODAY) This event pits the two best teams in Football against each other. For you Futbol or Soccer fans this is real Rockem-Sockem American-Style football, not that sissy game where you have to hit the ball with your head. Go Falcons.

Whoa—I can’t wait to see the finished product.

This one made me chuckle.

Hobbes’ reaction is hilarious, but I’ve always admired Calvin’s ambition here.
